It happens more often than you'd think. Here's what to do, step by step.

Check for an ear-tip or collar before approaching.

Snap it, and drop a pin so we know exactly where.

Assess: injured/sick vs healthy
Visible wounds, crusty eyes, or limping means it's urgent.

Kittens: don't kidnap
Mum is usually nearby — watch from a distance for 2-3 hours first.
